OREO / POKEMON.

To celebrate Pokémon’s 25th anniversary, we created the Pokémon x OREO limited-edition pack, featuring 16 embossed designs—some easy to find, others super rare.

Pokémon began as a pixelated black-and-white video game, so we honored its origins by using our black-and-white cookie as pixels. To launch the pack, we brought this idea to life with an animated film made entirely of OREO cookies, following a trainer catching her first Pokémon.

Thanks to the enormous fan base that this franchise represents, it turned out to be the most successful and effective OREO collaboration ever.

OOH.

We took this concept into OOH with a billboard on the Venice Beach boardwalk made of 3D printed OREO cookies. Each OREO cookie side was printed separately from the stuffing, then hand-assembled and placed. The result? A Pikachu mural made from 8200 cookies.

To enhance the experience, we hid our Pokémon x OREO designs throughout the mural in the same ratio they appear in our packs, bringing the thrill of discovering Pokémon to every fan who examined our mural.

The Late show.

We won awards, made headlines, sparked a ton of conversation, and drove all kinds of PR. But the best part? Imagining The Late Show with Stephen Colbert's team writing lyrics and animating this.
That one got me. Take a look.
